In a world of self-proclaimed geniuses, it’s no surprise that some people believe they’re walking around with the keys to wisdom. From those who think they’ve cracked the code of the universe to others who insist their unique take on reality is one of brilliance, some people should think before posting their genius online. With every new post, tweet, or video, they prove their lack of insight.

It’s as if the louder they speak, the more they convince themselves that their unfiltered thoughts are extraordinarily wise. But in reality, their claims are as misguided as they are amusing. Here are 17 people who think they’re geniuses.

1. Well, I revoke my Happy New Year statement then.
