The 1960s stand as a time that served as a true golden age for Hollywood. It featured numerous studios that churned out all kinds of classics and their stars like Audrey Hepburn, Paul Newman, and Marilyn Monroe.

Colorized photos are able to offer a visceral glimpse into the feverish energy and the striking elegance that served to define one of Hollywood’s iconic decades. These 20 photos are certainly proof of that.
