For years, pubs, cafés, and restaurants have been perfecting the art of witty marketing with nothing more than a board, a writing utensil, and some creativity. These signs stop people in their tracks, whether it is poking fun at the product, promising a pint, or giving a one-liner. Here, I’ve pulled together a whole lot of especially entertaining chalkboard messages that were left to entertain the ever-eager masses.

1. I see what they did there
