For example, Blake Lively became close with her The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-stars, and Jonah Hill and Emma Stone became longtime friends after working together in Superbad. Jonah Hill became famous after Superbad, one of the most iconic teen comedies of the 2000s, with scenes that made audiences laugh nonstop. At the time, he was mostly known for comedy roles, but years later he became an Oscar-nominated actor and respected filmmaker who worked alongside actors like Leonardo DiCaprio and Channing Tatum.
4. Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa Hudgens became famous through the hugely popular Disney Channel movie High School Musical. She became one of the most recognizable teen movie stars of that era, with fans all over the world.
5. Penn Badgley
Before You, Penn Badgley appeared in Easy A alongside Emma Stone. Most people remember him from Gossip Girl, but many forget he was also part of one of the most iconic late-2000s teen movies.

8. Chris Evans

Just like Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron became one of the biggest teen stars in the world thanks to High School Musical. He also appeared in 17 Again, a movie about an adult who turns back into his teenage self, basically the reverse of 13 Going on 30.
12. Michael Cera
Michael Cera starred in Superbad and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. In both movies, he played awkward but memorable teen characters that defined 2000s teen comedies.
13. Jesse Metcalfe
Jesse Metcalfe became a teen heartthrob after starring in John Tucker Must Die, a classic revenge-style teen comedy.
14. Aaron Taylor-Johnson
Before becoming an action star in Kick-Ass and later joining Marvel, Aaron Taylor-Johnson was the teenage heartthrob Robbie in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. The movie became a cult classic teen film, especially outside the U.S.
15. Mila Kunis
Mila Kunis appeared in Get Over It, a teen romantic comedy that many people forget today but still fits perfectly in the early-2000s teen movie era.

20. Freddie Prinze Jr.
Freddie Prinze Jr. was one of the biggest teen movie stars of the late 90s and early 2000s, starring in She’s All That, Scooby-Doo, and many teen romantic comedies. Many people still remember him from that era.
