Coney Island’s long since stood as an unrivaled symbol of immense summertime fun, adrenaline-charged rides, and that classic boardwalk nostalgia. This collection of photos pays homage to much of the excitement and timeless charm provided by Coney Island’s most iconic rides.

1. Three girls on a giant slide, 1953

6. Now that looks like a fun train ride if I’ve ever seen one
