The internet has made it incredibly easy to have an opinion about absolutely anything. The tricky part is making sure you actually know what you’re talking about before hitting send. Some people skip that step entirely and somehow manage to sound even more confident as they get things increasingly wrong.
That confidence is what makes these examples so entertaining. The people behind them clearly thought they had something clever to contribute, only for the comments to expose the holes in their logic. Once a bad argument is posted publicly, there is usually no shortage of people willing to point out exactly where it went off the rails.
