The Gulf War, which was also known as Operation Desert Storm was a military conflict during the early 1990s that was defined by exceedingly high-tech warfare, vicious airstrikes, and an overall massive coalition effort. Even though many will tell you that they most clearly remember the war through televised briefings in addition to grainy news footage, there are still plenty of rare images from the battlefield that can provide an even deeper insight into the more personal side of the conflict.
